It offers seamless integration with Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams, making it a great option for many professionals. What else has Tactiq got? Workflow automation, customizable prompts, and a privacy-first approach that doesn't record or store audio.

Before we talk about how Tactiq is a great option for many professionals, it's not perfect. A few features are limited, which is a bummer for those who use alternative video conferencing apps. You do need a Chrome extension, which is disappointing if you're a Firefox fan.

Tactiq also requires a stable internet connection, so it's not helpful for offline meetings.

1. Top Section: "10 Free Meetings Left This Month"

Tactiq provides a certain number of free meeting transcriptions each month; it resets every month. This is a counter showing how many you have left. Clicking on "Get more" takes you to an upgrade page where you can purchase additional transcription capacity or subscribe to a premium plan. Helps you track your usage so you don’t run out of free transcriptions unexpectedly.

2. "Transcribing: English" Section

This shows the language being transcribed during your meeting (in this case, English). If you click "Change," you can select a different language for transcription. This is helpful if your meeting is in a language other than English.

Lets you pause or resume the transcription process. Useful for skipping parts of the meeting that don’t need to be transcribed (like breaks or off-topic discussions).

Here, you will see who spoke the most during the meeting. This is beneficial if you want to be able to identify how many of your team members are contributing to a meeting. With that being said, this could also be a hindrance for those team members who are thinkers, more than speakers by nature. It could cultivate a forced contribution against their comfort space. However, on a broader spectrum, this could be beneficial for other scenarios where equal speaker time is a must, especially for big team decisions. where every voice counts!

User Interface & Ease of Use

The user interface was considerably easy to navigate. Quite simple and easy to understand the basic workflow. However, their newest "Workflow" feature can be a little hard to understand at first. I have attached a few videos, and guidelines on how to navigate the workflow feature. A beginner, would get confused and try to stray away from this feature.

But I do see the benefit of this feature. It allows you to automate the sending of meeting notes directly to your CRM or other work platform like Slack. You need to have a little bit of practice to get the hang of the workflow features. Other than that, others seem pretty easy to understand and navigate.
